Wacky Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!!!  We're almost through the week kids!
Last night I went with a friend to Carnegie Hall to see Lena Dunham & David Sedaris.  It was entitled "Along Together At Last".  My friend had an extra ticket, I thought it might be funny, but I didn't really know too much about David Sedaris before going in.  Pretty sure it was phenomenal!  I Had such a good time and the 2 of them were beyond hilarious.

They both did readings from their books that are coming/just came out.  David Sedaris also read an article that he had just written for the New Yorker.  This article was fantastic.  He has the weird side of dark humor completely captured.  I think hearing him read his work is also such an amazing experience, there are certain ways he says things that allows you to just know it's "ok" to laugh at something.    He has a number of books out too, one in particular is next on my list for this time of year - it's called SantalandDiaries in which he talks about his time as an elf at Macy's, green tights and all!

Lena Dunham was equally as hilarious and amazing.  She has a new book, Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s Learned, coming out and I seriously can't wait to ready it.  She read a few excerpts and I literally was crying.  She's just so real and seemingly "normal".  Even her stage presence was hilarious - she got on and was like listen I'm probably going to mispronounce words, fumble, etc., but just go with it.  Nothing pretentious or "important" about her!

As a totally different note/discussion…these 3 things happened to me this morning …

1.  On the bus this woman basically runs on with her son (mind you there are not that many people on, so it's not crowded).  Instead of telling the son to just sit down at a normal seat, she lets him run wild and all the way to the back of the bus.  The bus starts going and he basically flies across the aisle into some woman's lap and she, while trying to get to him, slams about 3 people (myself included) with his scooter.  Let's just say thank God the kid still had his helmut on from his epic scooter ride, which I'm sure consisted of 1 block.  Needless to say all of this and the 2 of them went literally 1 stop.  1 stop.  People are insane.

2.  On this same bus ride there was an angry woman who was older.  Every time the bus stopped she thought it was her stop.  Meanwhile - the bus driver does announce stops and he stopped at every avenue (we were going across town).  Oh also - she was getting off at 6th Avenue (my stop) and this started at 1st Ave.  Finally it was her shining moment and the bus was at a light, however she knew her stop was approaching, thought the stopped bus (due to said red light) meant she could just get off (not at the actual stop).  She began pushing on the door and yelling "BACK DOOR - I'M TRYING TO GET OFF!!!  BACK DOOR!!!"  Finally I politely said "we're not at the stop yet" and then she gave me a dirty look, the bus got to the stop and she scooted off.

3.  I get to work, get situated and settled.  Just starting my day and I hear this from one of the secretaries that sits outside my office door:  "This God damn list keeps changing like someone's bad underwear!!"

So I'll leave you with that lil gem.  I'm off to my old stomping grounds tomorrow…D to the C-izzle (does that work…no?!  Sorry I embarrassed myself).  I hope you all have fabulous weekends!!

Applebalaktic Shock

What's up on this groddy Wednesday?!  Well I've just been split your pants kinda busy lately.  Soo Sydney and I went back to our old stomping grounds this past weekend and it did not disappoint!  Our "class" all day Saturday was long and we were so over it by 3 pm, but we made it through and got some good stuff out of it.  Here's a lil recap of the rest of our weekend!
My train ride down was pretty uneventful - just the way I like it!  I had virtually no issues and just watched a movie and read my magazines.  Syndey got stuck in a boat load of traffic, so it took her about 2.5 hours to make a 1/2 hour trip to pick me up.  She finally secured me and off we went!  Our ride out was good - good to catch up and chat.  Our first whack attack experience occurred as we were stopped at a light heading into town.  This car of hoodlums motioned to roll down our window,

Sydney did and this was their exchange:
Kid:  Hey ma - you got a boyfriend
Sydney:
  What?!
Then they sped away
We finally got to campus and pulled into our luxurious hotel.  Let me explain this - it was anything but.  Here's a lil pic:
We checked in and got into the elevator.  Immediately we were in for it.  It smelled so rancid, I don’t even know how to describe it.  The doors opened, we were hoping for relief, no go - the hall smelled even worse.  And then…our room.  Sweet baby Jesus.  It was this God awful stench that I kid you not made me gag the second I opened the door.
We thought it was just "musty" and turned on the air.  Oh here's the other thing - we had no other place to go.  Everything was sold out and booked - this was our only option.  So we quickly threw our stuff down and headed to dinner.  One of our fave places - so delish!  We had to wait about an hour for a table - but it was so worth it.  After dinner we drove around campus and then headed right to Wal-Mart.  We decided over dinner that getting sleeping bags & pillows was going to be in our best interest. Best $25 I ever spent.  Sooo this is what we slept on…I had red, Sydney had blue.
When we got back, we pretty much went to bed.  We had to be up at 7 am for class, so we didn't want to do anything too wild.  Again, class was ALL day, so nothing crazy happened.  My favorite line of the day was after we got all of our "assignments" and Sydney leaned over and said "I'm going to lose my job because I'm going to be so busy leading!"
After class, we headed back to hell…I mean out hotel to change and get ready for a night on the town!  We went to our favorite place - 2 hour wait for dinner…womp womp!  BUT we were able to get a seat at the bar so that made it so much better.  An app and a few drinks later we were good to go!  Dinner was delish - despite the worst table ever that we had. Basically it was a "two top" in the middle of the aisle - so awkward.  Everyone could see you eating and just watched - we were totally "on display".  After dinner we headed back to the bar - we were both feeling pretty good!  At one point I looked at Sydney and said "did you guys hear that?!", to which she replied, "yes and I'm just one person - it's only me - no one else". Whoops!  This is also when Sydney told me she couldn't eat a certain food because she'd go into "Applebalaktic Shock".  I'm sorry - what?!  I believe you meant Anaphylactic Shock.  Heart this.  So we did some people judging and then got annoyed with the "younger folk", so we decided to change scenery.
We went into one of our old bars and I immediately had to walk out.  they still allowed smoking - inside - so gross!!  I couldn't deal for a hot second!  Then we went to the last place of the night - things sure have changed!  Drinks were only $5 - kind of amazing.  The clientele was quite different and the music was good - not the same - but good.  We saw a few people that we knew, including a guy I may or may not have made out with during college.  Sydney thought it'd be fun to talk to him…
Sydney:  Hey (hitting him on the shoulder) - do you remember us?!  I'm Sydney and this is Lizzie.
Guy:
Oh yah - I do kinda (pretending he didn't know exactly who we were).
Awkward silence
Me:
Welp - good to see you!
Shortly after we took ourselves to the late night diner we frequented oh too often as students.  Hasn't changed a bit!  Then we walked home, hopeful that we were drunk enough to not be bothered by the stench and grossness of our room.
Sunday we went to breakfast, walked around campus and then headed out.  My train home was good, despite having to sprint for it (after the changed the times on me)!
All in all it was great weekend - even with the awful hotel - it builds character!  Guys - the countdown is beginning today - Sydney, my sister and I leave for Portugal & Spain in 1 WEEK!!!  I REPEAT 1 WEEK!!!  I couldn't be more excited but I have so much to do between now and then!!  AHHHHH!!!

The Day I Resorted To Violence

Now let me just preface this story and say that I am not a violent person and I don’t condone violence in any way shape or form. I'm actually the girl that can't even watch hockey because it makes me sick to my stomach when they fight. During movies - I close my eyes at the hint of any violent scenes. I absolutely hate it and it makes me sick. Ok - so now for the situation that I found myself in and why it was ok this time.

I was back in college and it was during finals week. Everyone had random schedules so certain people could go out some nights and not others. The boy I was crushing on at the time, Mutt (of the great trial debacle), had invited me over to his frat house - so obviously I jumped at that opportunity. I quickly hurried over for a night of flirting and fun - totally trying to forget that I had an 8 am final - yah I wasn't one of the ones that didn't have an exam in the morning! Whoops - not one of my "smarter" choices. But the heart makes you do crazy things! Basically it was me, Amy, CCK, and this girl Coo Coo (I call her that because she was legit crazy) and a bunch of our guy friends. We were in the basement of their frat house just hanging out - playing a lil Beirut - nothing crazy at all. There were maybe like 10 of us down there just chillaxing - always looking for an opportunity to use that word. We were supposed to be home early - I wasn't really drinking - obvi because of my exam. Let me reiterate - a LOW KEY NIGHT.

I'm just minding my own business trying to make Mutt fall in love with me, and I look over to find this random kid going through my bag. Now let me back up - I had just gotten a new Kate Spade for my birthday and this bag was like my child. It was my first real "designer" bag and I acted like I was carrying a Hermes bag - it was that important to me. I had put it on the couch with everyone else's bags - we were all there - we were all friends - really didn't think much of it. Plus we were all in the same room - so I could watch it. Actually I even put it under my coat - just in case something spilled! So you can imagine my surprise/confusion to find this kid - Bart - going through my things. So I run over and I'm all nice at first - I actually said, "I'm sorry that's my bag - you must be confused". He keeps rifling - and now my wallet is out. This was basically our exchange:

Me: Can I help you with something?
Bart: No words - keeps taking things out
Me: If you need money that badly please ask - don't go through my things!
Bart: Again - no words - now has my credit cards and my cash in his hands
Me: Give me my stuff - get outta there - that's mine - what are you crazy?!
Him: Throws the bag in my face and says "Whatever Bitch!"

Ok - so now I'm angry - you have just pushed me wayyyy too far. No more Mr. Nice Guy - you are in for it now! So he stood up from the couch and I wound up - punched him square across the face.

Bart's face was the wall

With that everyone comes running - Amy takes this opportunity to throw a beer in his face.

All my guy friends pounce on him and tackle him to the ground. All the while yelling at him for "disrespecting me". Coo Coo is going crazy - she loves a good fight and was chomping at the bit to get a hit in - no such luck - CCK's then boyfriend (now husband) grabbed her up and pried her away from the action - she was such drama. The guys after some time of roughing him up - then bring him over and make him apologize to me. They basically had him by the back of the shirt and were surrounding him. One of my more awkward movements in life.

After that -I was just standing there gathering up my things in shock and disbelief over what just happened. I just wanted to go home. Mutt offered to walk me home and on our way out he was like wait I just have to do one quick thing. Next thing I know we're in Bart's room (at the frat house - yes he was their "brother") and Mutt is just completely trashing the room. I asked what was going on and why he was doing this - to which he replied "he goes through your stuff and disrespects you - I go through his stuff and disrespect him". Ok - fair enough.

My final the next morning was not one of best performances - but under the circumstances - I did just fine. I think I was still in shock that all of that went down. I had never as much as laid a hand on anyone and all of a sudden I busted out this fabulous right hook - it was amazing. And my hand even hurt a lil bit the next day!

Where is Bart today you ask? Oh Bart is in jail doing 25 to life. He thought it would be a good idea to further his career and up the ante a bit. He began robbing banks. He should have learned his lesson that night - I'm sure he's getting a lot worse than some girl punching him in the face. Karma's a bitch!

Barcode

As I'm sure many of you are in my boat - I didn't always make the BEST choices in college. While I made sure I went to class, got good grades, created "networks" - some of my "social" decisions were less than stellar. Most of you were right beside me while these were taking place, sometimes cheering me on, sometimes joining in my stupidity (most of the time it was the latter). That being said - there is one particular "decision" that I'd like to discuss today. This "decision" goes by the name - Barcode.

I went to a small liberal arts college that was plagued with Ralph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, JCrew, Kate Spade and all things that are great. I melded right in, as did the majority of the campus. Of course there were a few that were "outside the box". One in particular was Barcode. Let me break this down for you…

1. He drove a motorcycle and also had a car -I believe it was Mustang
2. He more often than not was found wearing jeans and a white t-shirt - here's a visual, actually a few - he was a "cross" between these:

Minus the leather jacket of course...

By no means was Barcode as cute - but similar "bad boy" features

Again - minus the leather jacket - he had a lot of "Fonzie" characteristics
3. He was the allegedly the #1 drug dealer on campus - supplying the likes of many a "rich kid"
4. He had piercings
5. He had MULTIPLE tattoos - among them one that read something to the affect of "Death to the World", one that had the word "hell" in it, and my absolute FAVORITE one - was just simply a barcode on his neck:

Ok so now that I've painted you an image of Barcode - you can clearly see my attraction. He was like your typical "bad boy" type. Oh I should also mention that he was like 24 - when I was a junior in college - so I was 21 - and yes he was living in the dorms. He said he figured out his shiz a little later in life. Whatever floats your boat!

I first came into contact with Barcode when we were living in the same dorm. I realized that he was actually roommates with 2 of my friends then boyfriends. Jackpot! So we were hanging out in their dorm room/apartment and the 2 of us were really just hitting in off! I mean sparks were flying! So I did what any respectable girl would do - took him up to my room. Then things got a little cray cray. We just made out - nothing to redic - next thing I know - the kid takes my belt off with his teeth - oh, I'm sorry - what?! I didn’t know that was humanly possible.

It had this "clasp" - not easily "workable"!

And let me just show what kind of belt it was - not one that is easily taken off - in fact I - numerous times - had near bathroom emergencies when dealing with this belt. How the hell did this even happen?! Anyways - that sealed the deal - I was in love!

So our love affair continued and we made out when we saw each other - typical college. One day Coco said to me, "Where are you going with this? Do you honestly think you could bring that guy home to your parents?!" Point taken - my father would have a damn near heart attack and my mother would just sit there, prob in the corner rocking, wondering "where she went wrong". I did take this into consideration, but the heart wants what the heart wants. I mean I knew it was "wrong" on so many levels - but I just couldn't stop. He was my proverbial drug!

It all came to a screeching halt, however, one fateful night. We were walking home from one of the fraternity houses that we were at that night - obvi another amazing party. As he was walking me home - because he of course wanted to go back out - I mean it was only 3 am - he said the worst thing ever to me. He called me his "bitch". And not in a nice term of endearment way - I was his literal "bitch". Like I was at his beck & call and did what he said. OMG - I sobered up extremely quickly - whipped around in the middle of the field hockey field and yelled "I am NO ONE'S f'ing bitch! Do not come near me - I will walk myself home". And I did just that - I didn't even turn around. That was the last of Barcode. We of course saw each other periodically and I was cordial. He was always super nice to me and I do believe in his heart of hearts - he did not mean that at all. I'm sure he was on God knows what and it just came out. Or maybe he really did mean it and maybe in his eyes I was his "bitch" - for good or bad. Either way - my heart hurt.

I was sad for like AN second and then I found some other shenanigans to get into. Now he's just a fun story I talk about. He was my "bad boy". I never really needed another since then - I fulfilled that "requirement" on him. Which - in retrospect - is prob a good thing - I mean I got it out of the way early! Barcode is doing great things these days. He's really turned his life around. It was prob my "influence" in his life that got him back on track. He recalls the days & life with his "good girl" - and by that I mean "bitch".

It’s In The Mail

So I’m new at my job. And while I won’t go into job related details, I thought you’d enjoy this story. There is this guy, Ross. Basically he is the only young, cute, “single” guy I work with. So you can imagine my delight when I talked to him for the first time at a summer work event. We chatted for a bit. Realized we knew mutual friends and we went to rival colleges. Let’s just say I was already smitten! I had my first “work crush”. I personally think that a “work crush” is a valuable asset to your workday. It allows you to have that “giddy” feeling after you see them in the hall.  It just makes it easier to to overcome that “pit in your stomach feeling” when you’re in the throws of some awful task. So there we have it – I was now the proud owner of a “work crush”!

So a few short days after our first encounter, I was doing filing in my office. Hair askew and not wearing a cute outfit at all. I hear a knock on door, spin around only to find Ross standing in my doorway! It was like out of a movie- he was all cute and casually leaning against my doorframe. So what do I do – turn purple and start sweating! Equally as “casual” and “breezy”. So there I was in throws of an embarrassment hot flash! I tried to compose myself and just be normal. We chitchatted for a few minutes and then he said, “I thought your office would be decked out in all your college gear, like flags and stuff” (knowing my love for my alma matar). To which I replied, still to this day not knowing why, a simple “IT’S IN THE MAIL”. Oh, I’m sorry what?! It’s in the mail!! What does that even mean?! After these fateful words were uttered from my mouth, I quietly looked away, hoping he didn’t hear me. He then said, “well good talking to ya” and off he went. What is wrong with me?! Why can’t I just be normal?!

Update – Ross apparently has a GF – and no it’s not me! I’ll keep you posted on if things change and obvi I’m sure I’ll have more awkward encounters - let's just call a spade a spade!

The Trial

Since I wasn't able to post yesterday, I've graced you all with a doozey of a story today! I'm currently at a work conference in Nashville, which I'll recap later on, so my internet services have not be too great! But I'll be back in the Big Apple Sunday, so I'll post again soon! Have great weekends and enjoy!!

Ok so this story does require a little bit of a back story. It's gonna be a long one! So in college I was good friends/flirted with/we liked each other with this guy, we'll call him Mutt (it's the only name that makes sense besides, Jerk). Ok - so Mutt and I were really tight, I was also close with his sister who was 3 years younger than us, and his parents adored me. When we were seniors - she was a freshman.

One night I found myself at a house party with basically none of my girl friends, but Mutt was there, so we hung out. We were getting along great, as always, when his sister called him. It was pretty late (around 3 am) at this point, so she was most likely a little tipsy and coming home from a frat party. Mutt got on the phone with her and chatted for a few seconds then handed the phone over, she wanted to talk to me. I got on and we did our normal - omg'ing, I miss you, heart you, etc. She then told me that a boy she liked asked her to come to his dorm room (obvi to make out) - I immediately told her to go (but be careful)! I mean this was college after all - and she had the biggest crush on this kid! So we hung up the phone. Mutt and I continued our game of Beirut and then it was time to go home. So he insisted on walking me home, ever the "gentleman". On our walk home he finally asked me what all the commotion was about when I was talking to his sister. I told him, not thinking it was a big deal…that's when all hell broke loose! He stopped dead in his tracks and looked at me so seriously and said (with a few more expletives), "Don't ever talk to her again. You are a slut and whore, how dare you tell my sister to hook up with some guy." Oh, I'm sorry…WHAT?! I immediately took MAJOR offense to this, of course started crying and ran the rest of the way home. I got into my house, ran up my stairs, threw my bag down on my bed and was pacing about my room. No one in my house was even awake for me to spew my anger to! I turned on my "IM", because obvi that's what you do at 3 am in college. With that my phone was ringing off the hook. It was Mutt calling over and over again. Finally I answered and he said, "I'm sorry. I'm outside your house. Please come down, I need to see you and talk to you." Me being the idiot that I am said fine. So I grabbed my phone and headed down the stairs. ENTER trouble! I took one step down my flight of hardwood steps and FLEW down the rest. I face planted on our foyer floor. Like I basically did a belly flop off the top step onto the hard wood floor. Amazing. I immediately thought I lost all of my teeth. I was frantically patting at the floor expecting to find them all. My mouth was gushing blood. My phone was in pieces everywhere. I stood up, put my phone together, felt to make sure all my teeth were intact and walked out the door.

I got outside and proceeded to cover my mouth with my hand, like that was totally normal. Mutt started in on his apology and then realized that I wasn't moving my hand. He asked what was wrong, to which I replied, "nothing, I just want to back inside and go to bed". He accepted that for a few seconds, then noticed the blood dripping down my chin. He pulled my hand away, murmured, "holy crap"! At which point I felt like the cat was out of the bag and I needed to tell him what happened! He said that he needed to take me home to his house to clean me up and take care of me. I said fine, basically because he was the only one up at this hour and I really did need some assistance! So off we went to his house. He did as promised and cleaned me up and gave me some ice. He also kept apologizing profusely and needed to know if I was still upset. I began to cry and say that I couldn't believe that he could say such horrible things to me, that were not true (I was like a negative slut/whore), but above all else, I thought we were "friends". And then something happened that I never envisioned happening in my life - I was put on TRIAL.

Everything was fine and we were sitting on the couch talking - then he jumped up got a chair from the kitchen, made me sit in it and started pacing back and forth in front of me. And so it began. Mutt started out with questions like, "where were you on the night of…" and "did you or did you not tell (said sister) to hook up with some dude" and among my favorites "what is your relationship with Mutt (yes he was talking in the 3rd person)…do you or do you not regularly joke around with him". This went on for about a 1/2 hour. I sat there bewildered answering all these questions. It was among the most bizarre experiences of my life. Finally around 5:30 am I asked if we could go on "recess" so I could go to bed. He said yes, and we just went to his room to go to sleep, being that it was 5:30 and he didn't feel up for walking me home - we did just have a pretty intense trial after all. So he lent me a pair of short/t-shirt and we went to bed.

Cut to the next morning - I'll give you my roommates morning and then mine! My roommates wake up to the front door wide open. Blood spattered about the foyer. My bedroom light on, my bag on my bed, my bed completely made. Me NOWHERE to be found. They called and called my cell phone, straight to voicemail. Looked at their computers - I had "checked into" IM at 3 am - but then was idle. Basically they thought I was raped and murdered…obvi. They began to panic.

My morning - I roll over and look at the clock. Holy shiz it's 1pm (I never even sleep past 10 am)! How did this happen?! Look at my phone - battery is dead. I feel a throbbing on my face. My lip is about 10 times bigger than normal and I have blood crusted on my lips. I gather my stuff, put on my "going out shoes" from the night before. And prepare for the walk of shame. I was still in Mutt's shorts/t-shirt, I couldn't even focus on changing, I knew I had to get home to my roommates. Run down Mutt's stairs to find his roommates (also friends of mine) who took one look at me and one of them could only get out "looking good Lizzie". I told them to shut up and I kept on running! I ran all the way home praying no one I knew would see me!

I busted into my house to find my roommates and other friends all at my kitchen table. IThe poor things were so worried about me (side note - I heart my friends and we're all still good friends to this day!) . They jumped up hugged me and then looked at me. Stunned they said, "what the hell happened to you". And thus I began my epic tale of "the trial". To this day we still reference it and it took Mutt a VERY long time to admit that he actually did this. I mean I guess I can't blame him, it's freaking weird!

Richard

Oh Richard, where do I even begin?!?! I met him at my five year college reunion. We were out at our old “stomping grounds” and he was randomly there with his boys from college on a guys golf weekend. He also had this lil (and I stress lil) friend with him, Tate. For whatever reason, Tate took a shine to me – of course I was probably the tallest girl in the whole damn bar and this 5 foot nothing guy was the only one vying for my attention – FML. Anyways – Tate took my number when we realized we all lived in DC and we should totally all be besties.

Tate proceeded to call and email me just about 3 times a day and was so excited to come to my birthday party the following week. So they showed up at my party and after everyone pretty much left, except me, Ruby and a few random co-workers, Richard and I shared a moment – I was totally smitten!

Next time I saw him was at this bar and one thing led to another – next thing I know I’m buying shots and then I’m in his bed! Whoops and whoops! We had a great night – I was totally into him and everything was great. I woke up the next morning and realized that I actually had to go to work and I felt like I may die a slow and painful death. The only words I could muddle out were, “what are my coordinates?” to which he responded, “I’m sorry are we playing Battleship?” And romance began! So he grabbed me a cab and I realized – I’m in the same outfit I wore yesterday! So I did what any respectable girl would do – had the cab driver drop me off at Macy’s. I then wandered around like a sketchy homeless woman (because I had not showered, makeup everywhere, and my hair was a total mess). It is there that I bought probably one of my most favorite purchases ever! It totally seemed normal and amazing at the time. It was a powder blue button down (wrinkle free) shirt with a pattern on it to go with my black pants that I was ok re-wearing. Like in the whole entire store – this was the only thing that made sense?!?! So off I went to work – showered in our gym and made it only a few minutes late!

So our hooking up continued for a few months – totally said I was fine being casual – meanwhile I was planning the nursery in our “nautical themed” child’s room! No I’m not that crazy – but I did really like him. One night I was supposed to meet him at his apartment after a night out with the girls. Well a night with the girls consisted of Syrah, Ruby and I doing Power Hour and then getting obliterated at Gin & Tonic. By the time I got to his apartment I was a disaster. Let’s just say that in the cab, the guy stopped short and I got myself stuck sideways between my seat and the front seat. I panicked and thought I’d never free myself. But I did. So I proceeded to call Richard incessantly, it kept going straight to voicemail and when he didn’t answer I took myself into his lobby and proceeded to tell the guard that I needed to see him but I didn’t know his apartment number. After much negotiation and anger – I left. And with that I also left one final voicemail that went something like this “oh I’m sorry did you think I was just some kind of whore that would show up to your apartment and keep doing this and I’m not a whore – you don’t deserve me. Why did you tell me to come over – I’m sorry I came – I shouldn’t have come – I’m never coming again…” then I think I probably trailed off and realized that I was in the middle of nowhere at 3:30 in the morning by myself and should really focus my efforts on getting myself home.

Well I’m sure you can predict the outcome – we never really spoke after that...until one ridiculous night. He just needed to come back for some more Lizzie! And that is a story for another day!
