Still Got It

I think I'm getting punked - like for realsies.  All of a sudden work has been off the hizzle.  Like I don’t have time to go to the bathroom kind of hizzle.  I've had like a billion meetings between yesterday and today and yesterday was just a show.  And on top of it I was having "stomach issues" - probably the last thing I want/need while at work.  Oh and my office is not conveniently located in/next to the bathroom - which means I was running back and forth looking like a freak.  So I apologize for no post Monday - but it was a situation…aka "The Situation".

Ok so let me dig into my memory and lets delve into the weekend.  Friday was spent chilling - doing laundry, cleaning a bit, just really nothing, oh and I got my nails did - "My Private Jet" - one of my absolute faves!

Because I had to save up for Saturday - A Sizzle was  in the hizzle - haha - omg I'm such a poet!  So Saturday I was up bright and early and caught the train to CCK's hood.  It was fine - no real problems - except I did have to move my seat once.  I got all situated and settled and all of a sudden this group of loud, older women got on (all the while I was thinking please don’t sit by me, please don’t sit by me), oh but they did.  And they were wearing the smelliest/strongest perfume of life.  Gurlfriend could not handle that - and they were loud on top of everything else!  So I got up and moved.  I got to CCK's stop and she picked me up, I got to see their new digs and off we went.  It was great to catch up and we had a really nice time talking and filling each other in on our lives!
We rolled into AC and you just knew you were there.  Like you can't even describe it - but you just know.  The clothes, the hair, the makeup, the smoking - it all just takes you right to that special place. We had to walk through the casino to get to the lobby - awesome.  We got our rooms and threw our stuff away.  We went to grab lunch and Bessie joined us.  After lunch we walked around a bit and waited for the other girls.
Once everyone arrived we were raring to go!  We went to Continental for dinner - ammmahhhzing.  It was great - we just ordered a bunch of small plates and all shared.  We had great drinks and nothing was rushed.  When we finished up dinner, obviously with "Key Lime Tacos" that were so delish, we were good to go!!  We decided to head to this bar that we had been to before.
We got there and they were trying to charge us $5 cover charge.  Let me explain this to you - this bar is in the casino - like literally in the middle of the casino - there are just velvet ropes sectioning it off. There are girls dancing on the bars - "professionals" and that is the bar.  So Bessie was having none of it.  She was like that's ridiculous we're not paying - unless you can give us a discount.  With that the girl was like "I'd have to talk to my manager".  To which Bessie replied "Ok, I'll wait".  Then all of a sudden we were all getting in for free - haha it was awesome!
So we bellied up to the bar and it began the best people watching of life.  I mean this place was amazing.  It was also nice for us to be able to chat/digest and relax after dinner.  My favorite person of the whole night, though would have to be a girl who was turning 30.  She was wearing the tightest outfit I had ever seen in my life and she was not a teeny tiny girl - like this outfit wouldn't look good on Kate Moss.  And then she had a button that said "Dirty 30" - so awesome.  And THEN my favorite part was her mask.  Yes - you read that correctly - she had a mask - like legit elastic around her head, covered her whole face mask of feathers and weird things.  She wore that thing like a champ - actually I don’t even know if she knew she was wearing it - she was so wasted it was insane.  Talk about "dancing like no one is watching".

When we had fulfilled our people watching quota for the evening, we headed to Dusk.  Now let me break this down - Dusk is a nightclerb/lounge.  We're not really "that type of girl", but we were ready to dance and needed to hear some good music.  They were playing fun stuff, so all of us jumped right in - we're not what you'd call a "shy" group.  We stayed there for awhile and it was quite the scene.  At one point CCK was getting groped like one of Snooki's poor pickles.

It was just a scene.  Eventually we had our fill and headed home.  And let me tell you - it was not early!!  We still can pull it out when we need to!  Thank God a few of the girls thought to bring snacks - pretty sure I woke up to a "cup" full of Baked Cheetos next to my bed - ok ok!
Sunday was not the best of days - but we powered through.  After a wonderful car ride back with CCK I took a delightful boat ride back to the city - it was great - nice and relaxing.  And then I made myself a permanent fixture on my couch!  Just the way I like it!!
Sooo also - quick note - did anyone catch the RHOBH reunion?!  Some majah dramz is about to go down.  So excited it's a 3 part extravaganza!!!  The girls were just in full affect last night - and Camille looked great

while Adrienne was sporting some vibrant colors - but her makeup was flawless - love!

I can.not.wait until next week - that's when things are really gonna hit the fan!!!
SOOOOO happy Tuesday - almost Wednesday - which means it's almost Thursday - which means it's almost the weekend!  Basically we're there!!  XOXO

Play By Play - "Would You Be Embarrassed If I Wore My Wings Out?!"

Y'all - things are about to get rull.  This weekend I'm heading back to the fabulous Dirty Jerz and bee-lining straight to my favorite place and yours…ATLANTIC CITY!!  It's actually far from my favorite place - but it does hold a very special place in my heart.
Me, Sydney, CCK, Bessi, and 2 of CCK's besties are taking AC by storm!!  It's gonna be slightly out of control - as only we can get.  I'm totally psyched.  I can't wait to share with you all on Monday!!

And now - this is a little something new - I'm going to give you the Jersey Shore play by play - these are my reactions as I'm watching the show…
- Danny's "meeting" with all the roommates.  So serious.  No one knows where Situation is - Danny calls him "useless".  Amaze.  Things need to really happen at the t-shirt shop - seriously.
- Situation crying a river. He's so sensitive - so ridiculous - over it.
- Meatballs are banged it out at the Shore Store.  Their reward - obviously a fake tattoo.
- Snooki needing to learn how to "walk hard".  The practicing = priceless.
- The pimp interview.  I mean I don't think I need to really say more.
- I heart that JWoww tore down the "help wanted" sign.  And btw - when did Danny said that by putting up a "help wanted" sign = new roommate?!
-  Umm the bunny heads - ooc.
- THE SURPRISE PARTY.  The fact that they were handcuffed to wheelchairs - I mean who thinks of these things?!    And Situation loves his stripper & takes her home.  Obviously.
- The confessional room with Deena & Ronnie - both crying.  Could. not. be. more dramatic.
- When they put the bunny costumes one - I die.  I literally peed my pants when they scared Jenni - Cyrussly - amazing.
- Couples night at the clerb - sans Snooki because she's too busy smooshing.  Sam's fight is ludicrous - like what the f even happened?!  And it was her new weave?!   I'm still confused - it was all so quick and the girls were being pulled upside-down?!  Cray!
- "I'm just trying to - ya know - do sex and this freaking clock keeps going off!" - Deena - put so eloquently as Deena can say things.
- Best part of the the whole episode - Vinny's kidnapping. I just truly heart Pauly D's and his bromance.  And that they're all doing the sign of the cross - dying.  And Deena trying to be serious in those wings.   And that tat - not one person understood.  I mean - I get it - but I just love how no one understood.  And now...whole crew back together!
And that about wraps it up!!  Enjoy your weekends!!  Be safe and think of me winning millions at the roulette table!

Spam-A-Lama Ding Dong

Does anyone ever look at their Spam mail??  Every now and then it catches my eye - normally it's about "Single Christians" or "Single  & Jewish" - it really doesn't discriminate race, religion, ethnicity - it just some how knows that I need help in that department.  Sometimes it's about medications and drugs - sometimes Viagra - again - doesn't' discriminate.  So today I thought I'd let you all take a lil look at my morning Spam Inbox.  Come along on this journey of dysfunctionalness with me.
Today this is what I was graced with...

Let's start with the Omaha Steaks - have I ordered them as gifts - yes.  Do I want to order them for my singleness - no.  Would I eat them if you sent them to me - obviously.
Now moving on to the "Belly Fat Blast!" - which will come in handy after my Omaha Steaks endeavor.  This is slightly misleading.  The subject states: "4 foods that KILL fat and 7 food chemicals that CAUSE it", however when you actually open the email, it says:  "Now I'm not talking about specific foods…" UMMM  well then what kinds of foods were you talking about when you said "4 foods that KILL"?!  Just wondering.
Ok so "Find a Dentist" - pretty benign/typical spam.  But what got me was the subject:  "78 Million Americans Lose All Their Teeth".  If that doesn't scare the b-Jesus out of you - I don’t know what will!  Where do they get these statistics?!
FTD Flowers - why don't you just rub it in that I'm single?!  That's why the "singles" ones and this are normally together.  Along with the Omaha Steak - I'm depressed because I'm alone, I eat because I'm depressed, and then I go on a singles website?!  I see what you are doing here Spam - I've got your number!
You can see the obvious connection to me and "X-Ray Technician" - so I won't even go into detail there.  And lastly 1Ink, perfect now I can get all my toner needs from them - because I have many of them!
Soooo according to my spam box - I'm single, depressed from not receiving Valentine's Day flowers, I'm a future x-ray technician, I'll prob die because of all the Omaha Steak I ate and I failed to "blast the belly fat" and will most likely not have any teeth.  BUT at least I'll have toner!!!  So there you have it folks!  Lizzie ….this is your life!!

2 Quick Things!

Hello world!  Today is gorgeous out - I only wish I was able to enjoy it and not be in this stupid office all day!  Wahhh!  Ok enough about that.  So 2 things today.  1.  I'd be remiss if I didn't give my input on last night's finale of RHOBH and 2.  Have I discussed my new favorite blog(besides mine)?!
1.  RHOBH
Ok I had mixed feelings about this.  I thought the finale was going to be dramz and angsting and tears galore, but it was really pretty subdued.  They didn't address a lot of issues that I thought they would and 3 of the "main" women were hardly/not even shown.

Did anyone else think it was odd that Brandi, Kim & Taylor were basically left out of the whole episode?!  Because I sure did!  I know technically Brandi is still "new" and doesn't have that much status yet, but she was a main focus of a lot of what went down this season.  I just thought that was weird.  And where the heck was Kim the whole time?!  Taylor I get - I think the wedding was around the same time as Russell's death, so totally understand.  But Kim didn't go into rehab until like December, right?!  I'm so confused!
Anyways…Pandora looked gorg and just so happy - so did her new husband.

I actually got a little teary when Ken gave his speech.  I thought the whole event was breathtaking - just amazing.  I'm just a lil upset that my invite got lost in the mail.  Side note - what is going on with Lisa's son??  They discussed him last season, but not so much this season.  I'd like a status update on him and what he's doing with his life.  Thanks.
All in all I thought it was a good season.  As much drama and craziness that happens - they still do appear (operative word here is "appear") to be pretty close.  Also last season I really was not a Camille fan - but this season she really made a comeback!  I enjoyed her and I thought she was so nice and dramz free - totally turned around my opinion!
2.  Suri's Burn Book
This is one of the main reasons that I'm so sad that I can no longer look at blogs at work.  However, this is also one of the only ones that I still keep up on - at home!  Whoever writes this is pure genius and I want to meet them/be their friends.  Basically it's a blog written through the eyes of Suri Cruise and it talks all about the other children of Hollywood.  Although I hate her disdain for some of these kids (i.e. Garner-Afflecks, Alba-Warrens, Stefani-Rossdales, etc.), it makes Suri sound like such a lil biznatch - kind of like I'd imagine her to be.  She also takes major offense to ANYTHING the Jolie-Pitt children do.  And the best part is that she also makes fun of her parents - which is hilar.  It's the most ridiculous read I've read in awhile!  Here's one of the latest excerpts:
Jon Voight, grandfather to the Jolie-Pitt brood, told E! News he sees a future for his grandkids in the entertainment industry.
“I don’t want to say, but I have a feeling that they will,” he admitted. “I have no doubt.”First of all, “I don’t want to say” is different from, ahem, saying things. Just like “having a feeling” is different from “having no doubt.” I’m five and I can construct a proper sentence, Mr. Voight.“Hollywood should be afraid of them. These guys are really something.”Oh, I’m afraid of them, all right. But not for the reasons their grandfather suspects. These kids are just so unpredictable and off the rails — you never know what they’re going to do, and that frightens me. As for their talent? Highly doubtful. Unless there’s some market for professional public pajama-wearing that I’m not aware of.
I mean - I die!  Get after reading it NOW!!!
So that's all for today!  Until next time sukkkkahs!  XOXO

Straight Up 'Illin

Ugh - Monday has reared it's ugly head yet again!  I'm so over it!!!  If we could just have 3-4 day weekends every week, I'd be most appreciative.  Thanks!
Friday night was a bit of a bust.  However I did get some new make up at Bobbi Brown before the "event", so that made up for it.  I got these products and I'm already obsessed!
Party Eye Pallete
Nude Peach Blush

I mean it was fine, but everyone there was a fetus.  Like they were still in college (all the guys anyways) and it was just odd.  There were only about 30 people that came, the oldest guy (graduate) was class of '07…so I mean not like he was THAT young, but there was also just one of those.  I mean 2 guys got carded at the open bar and turned down - it was THAT kinda crowd.  Also I had to pay $50 for it - which I'm totally fine with - and it was from 6-9 pm.  So I thought that was reasonable. However, they only had like 3 different kinds of passed apps - all of which were like the frozen ones you get at the grocery store and none of which were good.  And they ran out so quickly that they only came around maybe once.  So I had a few glasses of wine and 2 apps for $50 - and that, my friends, is not ok.  Anyway - I'm glad I went - push myself out of that box!
Saturday I woke up to SNOW!!  I love the snow.  Not like blizzard insane can't go anywhere, but just fun snow.  And now that I live in a place that I don’t have to shovel or drive anywhere, I enjoy it even more - especially on the weekends when I don’t even have to leave my apt if I don’t want to!  So I did a few things around the house before our big departure to Stamford.  I knew this was going to be an interesting trip the second we left our apartments.  We got to Grand Central and walked into a squash tournament going on - yes - in Grand Central - what?!  It was the most bizarre thing.  There was like a huge glass box and all these bleachers like outside the tracks.

I swear - only in New York!  And then as we were making our way through to get our tickets, there were like 3 weddings having their pictures taken.  That I'd never seen before either - but I do heard GC, so I thought it was cute.  We found our train and the ride up was pretty uneventful.  We were able to catch up a bit and it was actually pretty quick!  And then we pulled into Stamford.  When we got out of the train, we were all looking around like idiots and couldn't figure anything out.  At one point, Giuliana said "how is that we're all world travelers and have negotiated foreign cities/countries, but Stamford, CT is throwing us all through a loop?!"  It was stupid.  We got a cab, finally, and went to the hotel.  We were all starving so we pretty much just got changed/ready for the night and went out.
We had dinner at Lola's - which was amazing.  If you're ever in Stamford - you should def check it out!  I had 3 different tacos - sooo good.  And the margs were on point!  After dinner we headed out for the night.  Our first stop was this place called Black Bear.  We got a table and settled in for a night of amazing people watching.  The first ones we spotted was this group of guys that were a little "thugged out" but awesome.  We coined them "the original Contraband" - due to our current obsession with that movie.  One of them had a gold chain with both a cross & a Satan medallion - obviously this was Giuliana's favorite group member. They had flat brimmed hats on - my favorite had a red Nationals one (homage to my old stomping grounds).  They were like old school Marky Mark - quite possibly his "funky bunch".  Then the DJ came in - again - amazing.  He took this gig so seriously - I should also note that it was like a tiny pub type atmosphere.  With him this group of (what we thought were college students) came roaring in.  They were so ready to tie one on.  Like ridic.  Apparently they won some free happy hour and it was all you could drink.  The group leader was none other than this kid, we called "Mellow Yellow".  He had flaming red hair, acted like a moron, was loud, and was wearing a light yellow mock turtleneck sweater (half zip).
We were just sitting there minding our business, having a good time and listening to the DJ when things started to happen.  First this guy (in Mellow Yellow's entourage) approached Carrie and started chatting her up.  With that this other guy comes at me wearing - God knows what and this most awful NY Rangers scarf.  But he didn't even have it tied and it was so gross.  You all know how I feel about guys wearing jerseys, this is now a close second.  And he was obnoxious to boot!  However, he was persistent and WOULD NOT leave me alone!  I was not entertaining him in the least bit, but he kept coming back for more.  In the middle of Giuliana making fun of me, Mellow Yellow comes flying across the room and gets in between her and the guy talking to Carrie, puts his arms around both of them and proceeds to try to speak.  This resulted in him spitting all over Giuliana - it was such a scene. Then I kept telling her to zip his mock turtle up, to which she obliged and got it up little by little.  I was dying.  Then she kept calling him Mellow Yellow and this was their exchange:
Mellow Yellow:  Are you calling me that because I like to get high??
Giuliana:  No - I didn't even know that, nor do I care too.  I'm calling you that because you're wearing a pale yellow mock turtleneck sweater and it's ridiculous.
Mellow Yellow:  Oh.  Well do you guys wanna come back to my apartment and smoke some weed?
Giuliana:  I think we're gonna pass.

So we took a shot - Skier on Acid - Giuliana's choice and headed out to the next bar.  The next one was kinda slow - not much going on.  We stayed for a little bit and called it quits.  That's when the most amazing part of our night was about to begin.  We walked over to this place, Butterfield 8.  We should have known we were in for it when we were walking in as 2 people were getting kicked out. one guy was starting a fight and this girl's hair extensions were on the threshold of the door.  Like we had to step over them to get in.  All signs pointed to amazing.  We got in and headed back to the dance floor.  At first there was only Salsa music playing.  We tried to get into it, but just weren't feeling it.  So we decided that maybe we should just call it a night.  We put our coats on and began to head towards the door.  Then all at once, 3 thigns happened (in unison):
1.  I saw the red flat brimmed Nationals hat (worn by one of the members in the Original Contraband) on a table off to the side.
2.  They DJ started playing Rihanna.
3.  The leader of the Original Contraband emerged.
Giuliana looked at me and Carrie - none of us spoke - we just immediately took our coats back and started dancing.  Our night had come full circle.  The music was awesome and we danced like fools.

Soooo much fun!  We stayed there till closing, briefly checked out one more bar and then headed back to the hotel.  We decided Dominos was a necessity and ordered it immediately.  Of course we waited over an hour, decided it wasn't coming and went to bed.  Next thing we know - phone is ringing and Dominos is at our door.  We all thought we had been sleeping for a good hour, but in actuality it had only been 10 minutes.  I kept yelling that I was already in REM.  So we each had a piece and went back to bed.  Carrie was so confused and kept saying "Is this really happening or am I in a dream?? Why am I eating Dominos in Stamford right now?!"
The next morning we had breakfast and headed back to the city.  Although we all came back WITHOUT rings on our fingers - it was a great little get away!  We had so much fun and the trip was totally worth it!  BTW I kept saying that the night was "straight up 'illin" and the girls were having none of it.  However - I believe it's making a comeback - so basically I'm cutting edge.
My weekend was completed with a Giants win (despite being a Jets fan - I'm pulling for the GMEN!!) It's gonna be a fab Superbowl!  I always love a good Boston/New York show down!!  AND I do love me some Eli - those Mannings are just my faves!  Let's go Giants!!!

Just A Few Week Things

Hiya!  Ewww I actually hate that I just said that.  It reminds me of that awful girl on Small Wonder - the one with the red hair…
Is anyone still reading this after I seriously referenced Small Wonder?! Sooooooo anyway...
Ok so 2 quick new beauty obsessions:
1.  I've been having some mayja black circles under the 'ol eyeballs so I really needed to address this. It's weird because they're not puffy, just dark circles.  I'm trying this out...
It's called "All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage" and I'm seriously obsessed so far.  Not sure it's really doing anything, but I love the way it feels, so if that's all I need right now, then so be it!  I enjoy Clinique products, generally they're pretty good and do what they say for not that crazy amount of money.  This was $26 - so not terribly bad.  Especially since the ones in the drugstores were about $20, I'd rather pay a little more and know it's a good product and I have sensitive skin, so I can't use just anything!
2.  Now I know you're all going to say that this came out years ago and why am I just NOW jumping on the bandwagon?!
HOWEVER - this little gem, "Rosebud Salve" just came out in this packaging and that's why I'm obsessed.  I hate sticking my finger into my lip balm for a few reasons:  1)I'm OCD and I don’t like germs 2)As clean as I am, it's still my finger and then putting on my mouth/lips…you see where this is going 3)inevitably someone (usually the last person you'd want) will say "can I have some?" and then you're obligated and it gets awkward.  So I stick to this format and things stay clean and awkward-free!
What does everyone have on the agenda for the weekend?!  I have a few things up my sleeve and I'm thinking it's gonna be a good one!  Tomorrow night I'm going to a "grown up" networking mixer with my old sorority and a fraternity from my college days.  Should be VERY interesting.  It's an open bar - so I mean things may get a lil cray to the cray.  Although there will be 60 year olds there, so may not be as "poppin'" as I'm hoping.  Saturday I have a little outing planned to obviously find my future husband.  We're leaving this fine city in hopes to find our destinies!  We being me, Giuliana & Carrie. Should be interesting and I'll be sure to fill you in Monday!!  Have great weekends and stay warm! XOXO

A Little 'O This...A Little 'O That

So I clearly have some 'splaining to do.

I'm so sorry about my absence.  Just when I say it's a New Year's resolution to be more consistent - you don’t hear from me for a week!  Not ok!!  BUT I do have a tiny ounce of an explanation - soooo please don’t leave me!!!
First off - last week - JURY DUTY!!!  Need I say more.  In this fine city of New York it's not just one day - it's a minimum of two.  Oh and guess who got stuck in a 3 day jury selection but then didn't even get picked?!  That’s  correct - ME!!  So angry - still it makes me enraged.  It prob would have been interesting too, it was drugs, attempted murder, etc.  And the worst part was that we were in the courtroom the entire time, which meant no cell phones, laptops, magazines, books, etc.  Nope we just had to sit there and listen to the questioning taking place.  Awful.  The only good part was that the judge was semi-entertaining so he did make me giggle quite a few times.  Oh and don’t worry I made friends with a 70 year old drama coach (out of the 100 other people there, this is who befriends me). And this was by far my favorite line of the whole 3 days.

Judge questioning one of the potential jurors:  Do you have a problem believing the credibility of a witness that has used drugs in the past and may have been using at the time of the incident?
Guy:  Actually I'd have a problem believing someone that wasn't using drugs.  All of the people I trust are drug users.
Judge:  Weellll that's a new one!  We don’t have time to get into this but…REALLY?!
And there you have it folks!  So that's how I spent the majority of last week.  Then I returned to work to a deluge of things to do - slightly disgusting.
So that brings you up to speed and now I'll go over a few things from this weekend/some recaps and we'll go from there!
- Jersey Shore - ummm I  may or may not have cried when Vinny left.

Also I love that some random girl stole Pauly's necklace and then showed up at the door with it on.

Ballsy and amazing.
- I saw Contraband on Saturday night with Giuliana, let's just stay my stomach is still feeling anxious. It was awesome.  And I heart Marky Mark more than I ever have.

Like I'm in love.  Is that weird?! We then went out for some Mexican food - had some amazing "skinny" margs (not the package kind - they actually made them from scratch).  Then we went to this most weird bar - I can't even describe it - but lets just say everyone in there looked like they were from the '90s - like straight up out of 1993. They were the motliest crew of characters I had ever seen.  At one point I thought Giuliana was going to get kicked out when some guy asked the score of the Patriots/Broncos game and the bartender said that the Broncos won and she was said - oh I thought Pats won.  He gave her a look of death and then said "we're never speaking again" and walked away.  Basically that was his way of "joking" with the guy and she "blew it".  Sooooo there's that.
- Golden Globes - I thought they were kinda flat.  Nothing crazy happened and I wasn't really that excited with them.  But I do have to give a few shout outs to best/worst dressed (in my opinion) and my guuurrll Reese - blew me away.  Like my girl crush is even larger now - I heart her - she's just so amazing.
Best:

Worst:
Just not a fan - I don't love the severe red lip and the top - not my thing.

It looks too wrong - just too harsh or something.

Love the color, love the top, but wtf is going on with the bustle/right side.

This is way too old lady, doesn't do a thing for her.

Can. not. get behind the blue hair.  The dress is ok - not loving the shoulder pads.

Just no.  And it looks too small.
- Yesterday I saw Live with Kelly.  It was sooo fun.  She's a doll in person and was so fun and nice during commercial breaks.  And Seth Meyers co-hosted.

Here's the thing - I know he has a girlfriend and all - but I'm just throwing it out there - I'm better and we'd have more fun.  So unless Jason Segal gets to me first - Seth - I'm right here.  Waiting.  Anytime you wanna ask me out.  I'll be here.  Sooo don’t wait too long.  I think you should be my husband.
Ok so now you're up to speed on my life.  I know - so exciting.  I hope you're able to get through your days knowing all this about me!

Welcome Back, Welcome Baaaaack

So I started out my morning walking to work, as per usual.  I was crossing 5th Avenue and a bus, that shouldn't have tried to go through the light but did anyway, was completely blocking the crosswalk, making it difficult for us pedestrians to cross the street.  The man next to me was not having a good morning apparently, because when this happened, instead of just walking around the bus and being slightly annoyed, he…
1.  Stood in front of it
2.  Put his middle finger in the air
3.  Screamed "F*ck you BUS!  F*ck you!!"
Then proceeded to just walk around it like the rest of us.  Ahhh gotta love New York!
I also went to the gym last night…2 nights in a row…I mean I'm kinda on a roll!!  Does anyone else get annoyed at the "New Year Gym Goers"?!?  Am I the only one??  I mean it's not like I live at my gym, but I try to go at least 3-4 days a week and more when I'm really motivated (aka now).  But these people that make these New Year's resolutions and come to the gym for about January and then not again for the rest of the year, really burn me up!  They take up the machines, use space at the mats and just generally annoy me.  I had to use a locker in a different section than I've been using ALL YEAR! It's actually pretty maddening.
But then I just have to tell myself it will all be over in a few weeks. Then it's back to normal!

Ok now onto the most important thing - JERSEY SHORE IS BACK!!!
All my little Guidos and Guidettes are back in the good 'ol U S of A!  Last night's episode was pretty uneventful, but there were a few little gems that I enjoyed.  Here are my "take aways" (btw did any of your teachers ever use that phrase?!  It used to drive me bananas!!  "what are your take aways from today's class??")
·       Ronnie & Sammi didn't have AN fight.  I repeat Ronnie & Sammi did. Not. Fight. Amazing.  I actually enjoyed the two of them last night.
·       Ryder has become kind of a slore!  I mean she's really working her way through the house!
I actually did feel a little bad for her though, right after she hooks up with Pauly, he's out with the boys making fun of her for hooking up with everyone!  Guuuurrrlll pull it together - stop slutting it up for every guy in that house!!
·       Situation is as creepy as ever.  Either tell Jionni or don’t - this is just getting annoying.  Also - when you talk to people - either put your sunglasses on or off.  Don’t peer over them creepily and pretend like that's normal.
And another thing - stars shaved into your head is never a good look.  Stick to Vinny's "faux mullet/Mohawk".
·       There is a person out there that thinks it's awesome that his name is "The Unit".  Again - his name is "The Unit".  That's all.

·       Vinny - my sweet little Vinny.
This boy is more home sick than I was my first night at college sleeping in a room with 2 complete strangers, one of which was a prior llama trainer and the other that had NIN & death posters all over the wall.  True story - that was my "triple" freshman year.  Awesome.  Anyways - I think Vinny just needs a good weekend/couple of days back home with the fam to re-energize.  I mean I give him props for staying with these people for as long as he has, I don't think I could last an hour in that house!
·       Jionni seems like a genuinely nice guy.  And now I'm starting to feel bad for him.  Snooki is acting very strange about this whole Situation thing and I don’t know what the truth is, but just tell the poor guy and move on.  It's pathetic!
Sooo I'm stoked for the rest of the season - looks pretty interesting!!!  I hope you all have fabulous weekends!!!  XOXO
